breakfast time

being a student can be stressful and busy, but it is important to remember to eat healthy and on a regular basis. remember to have breakfast and you are set for a good start into your day. you need to be fueled for a productive day and what is better then carbs!?

my best breakfast ideas are porridge or scones. most days I would have porridge. it is easy to make and you can change it up in so many ways that it stays interesting, but if it should get boring I would make some scones the night before and heat them up in the morning.

the easiest ways to make porridge to take one cup of oats in a bowl and fill it up with two cups of hot water. let that soak for a little bit while you get dressed or pack your things. I always add maple syrup and some berries, but that is up to you what you like. raisins are a good thing to add as well, if you like dried fruit (I don’t).

I always make sure that I have some fresh fruit with my breakfast. if it is berries, bananas or apples. it is good to start your day with some fresh vitamins!
